How to create a Demon Avenger
To create one choose the 'The Demon' option in the Character Creation screen and then continue through the story until Lv. 10 where you will be given the choice to choose between the 'Demon Avenger' or 'Demon Slayer' classes. You can also choose to skip the cutscenes at the beginning to go straight into choosing between the two classes
Exceed Mechanic
Demon Avengers use HP for their attacks and do not have an MP resource. As well, instead of scaling off of STR like regular warriors, Demon Avengers' damage scales off of HP
Exceed
Using attacks labelled with 'Exceed' grants a stacking debuff called Overload (up to 20 stacks). At max stacks and for every 2 stacks, Life Sap (1st Job) effectiveness will be reduced
Additionally, repeatedly using Exceed attacks in quick succession will result in entering 'Exceed Mode', increasing the Attack Speed and HP Cost of the Exceed skills. Some skills also gain increased range or increased number of hits per attack
To reset your Overload stacks, you can use Overload Release (1st Job) to restore your HP and increase your %Final Damage based on the number of Overload stacks consumed
