In 2nd Job, after completing your storyline, Illium gains access to 
 an orb that you control and interact with. The orb has a special resource called "Charges" that is generated passively

Additionally, skills labelled as "Crystal Skills" can be used once you reach a certain amount of Charges. Crystal Skills do not consume Charges, instead they reset every time you hit the max amount of Charges. Crystal Skills can only be used one time until your Charges are reset

 Crystal Skill - Resonance [3rd Job] - 60 Charges
 Crystal Skill - Wings of Glory [3rd Job] - 150 Charges

Additionally, whenever 
 Radiant Javelin, 
 Radiant Orb, and 
 Longinus Spear hits the orb, it triggers an attack from the orb.
